Refund Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026 Β· This policy explains when you can get your money back on DevsTeam services. It is the same promise you see on each service page, gathered in one place.

πŸ“Œ The short version

  • Emergency and malware work: if we cannot fix it, you do not pay.
  • Care plans: a full refund inside the first 14 days, then month to month with no cancellation fee.
  • Speed work: the target scores go in the written quote. Miss them and you get a refund.
  • No long contracts, no lock-in, no small print with carve-outs.

How we think about refunds

We would rather fix the problem than keep money for work that did not help. So most of our guarantees are simple: you only pay when the job is done. The details below depend on which service you bought, because a one-time fix and an ongoing plan are not the same thing.

Monthly care plans

This covers WordPress Maintenance, WooCommerce Maintenance and ongoing Security monitoring.

  • 14-day money-back on your first month. Sign up, and if you decide it is not for you within the first two weeks, we refund the full amount.
  • Month to month after that. No contracts and no cancellation fees. Cancel before your next billing date and you will not be charged again.
  • Work already done stays done. Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not claw back care we already delivered that month.

Emergency support and malware removal

These are one-time fixes, and both run on the same rule: no fix, no charge.

  • Emergency support: if we cannot fix your WordPress issue, you pay nothing. If we fix part of it but hit something we honestly cannot resolve, we refund the fees charged for that specific issue in full.
  • Malware removal: we only take the fee once your site is genuinely clean. If we cannot remove the infection, you do not pay.
  • 30-day reinfection warranty: if a site we cleaned is reinfected within 30 days, we clean it again at no charge.

Speed optimization

Speed work is quoted one time, and the target scores go into the written quote before you pay anything. If we miss the targets we agreed, you get a refund. That sentence lives in the contract, not just on the page.

Security hardening

Security has two promises. There is a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the hardening work. And on sites we actively monitor, there is a hack-fix guarantee: if you are compromised while we are watching, we clean and re-harden the site at no extra charge.

SEO and custom development

  • SEO is monthly with no long contract. You can cancel any time and keep the work already done on your site. We do not promise a number-one ranking, and nobody honest does, so there is no ranking-based refund. What you can rely on is the work getting done and reported each month.
  • Custom development is quoted per project, with the scope, milestones and refund terms set out in the written proposal you sign before work starts. Because each build is different, those terms govern that project.

What is not refundable

Sometimes a job needs paid parts from other companies, such as a premium plugin or theme licence, paid hosting or a stock asset. Once we buy those on your behalf they are yours to keep, so their cost is not refundable. We always tell you about any such cost before we spend it.

How to ask for a refund

Email [email protected] with the subject “Refund”, or reply to any thread you already have with us. Tell us what you bought and what went wrong. We reply within our normal desk hours and send approved refunds back to your original payment method.

βœ… What this means for you

  • You are never locked into a contract to try us.
  • On fixes, the risk is ours: we earn the fee by solving the problem.
  • Every promise here is written on the matching service page too, so nothing is hidden.
