WordPress support services

WordPress support, from a dead checkout to a full rebuild.

Ten services, one team, and a price next to every one of them. Care plans start at $49 a month and one-time fixes at $97. Every change is tested on a private copy of your site before it touches the live one, and you get an audit before you pay us anything.

Free audit, no card Β· 3-month minimum Β· 14-day money back Β· 2-hour desk-hours response in writing

Pick the sentence that sounds like your week

Most services pages make you read the whole catalogue before you find out which part is yours. Read the four lines below, choose the one that fits, and skip straight to the answer.

01

It is down, or badly broken

White screen. Fatal error. Locked out of wp-admin. Checkout returning an error to every customer. A senior engineer acknowledges your case within two hours in desk hours, 9am to 1am Bangladesh time, and within eight hours outside them.

Emergency support, from $97 →

02

It works, but nobody is looking after it

Updates install themselves overnight. The backups sit on the same server as the site. Nobody has opened the contact form in a year to check that it still sends. That is the common one.

Care plans, from $49/mo →

04

I need something built or rebuilt

A feature no plugin does properly. A store migration. An integration with the software you already run. Or a site that has outgrown the builder it was made in.

Custom builds, from $3,400 →

🤝

For agencies and freelancers

You need the work done, but your name on it

We work inside your project tool, follow your tone with clients, and write delivery notes you can forward without editing a word. Your clients never learn we exist. Volume pricing starts at five sites, and an NDA is signed before we see a single login.

None of those quite fit? Send the URL anyway. The audit costs nothing, and sometimes we read a site and tell the owner it is genuinely fine. That happens more often than you would expect.

In plain terms

Four ways to buy, and the honest case for each

A WordPress service is one of four things: work we do every month, work we do once, work we build for you, or work we do quietly under your brand.

Agencies tend to sell whichever one has the best margin. We would rather you picked the cheapest option that actually solves your problem, because the alternative is you paying for a plan you did not need and resenting it by month three.

Two of these four are one-time purchases. If that is all you need, say so and we will stop there.

01

Care

Monthly. The same engineers on the same site, month after month, so somebody knows its history when it breaks.

  • Staged, tested updates
  • Off-site daily backups
  • Security and uptime watch
  • A report in sentences

02

Fix

One time. You have a named problem and a budget, and you want it gone this week rather than managed forever.

  • Quoted before we start
  • No plan required
  • Malware, speed, security
  • Emergency repair, any hour

03

Build

A project with a scope, a fixed price and a date. Custom plugins, integrations, migrations, rebuilds.

  • Fixed price, not hourly
  • Code you own outright
  • Documented on handover
  • 30 days of fixes included

04

Partner

White label. You keep the client relationship and the invoice. We do the work and stay invisible.

  • NDA signed as standard
  • We use your project tool
  • Notes written in your voice
  • Volume pricing from 5 sites

The one thing we will not claim

That your site can never be hacked. Nobody honest sells that. What we do is cut the risk sharply, clean it up at our cost if it happens on a monitored plan, and put both of those promises in writing before you pay.

Everything we handle

Ten WordPress services, and what each one costs

Why one team instead of five

Most of these problems are the same problem in different clothes. A slow store, a hacked store and a store that broke after an update usually trace back to one neglected plugin. When a single team holds the whole picture, nobody gets to call it a hosting issue and hang up.

🔄

Care plan

WordPress maintenance

From $49 /month

Core, theme and plugin updates staged and tested before they go near production. Daily off-site backups with 30 days of history, uptime checks every 60 seconds, and a monthly report written in sentences rather than dashboards.

See maintenance plans →

🛒

Stores

WooCommerce maintenance

From $49 /month

Payment gateways verified monthly, checkout timed on a real test order, order tables kept indexed. After every cycle an engineer walks the journey your customers walk, because an automated test never notices a silently broken Add to Cart button.

Store care plans →

🔒

Hardening

WordPress security

From $299 one-time

File permissions, wp-config protection, fresh security keys, a firewall tuned to your traffic, two-factor rollout and tighter user roles. A plugin on default settings stops the automated attacks. A person deciding what your site needs closes the rest.

Security services →

Performance

Speed optimization

From $149 one-time

We profile the site to find what is actually slow, fix it at the source, and write your target scores into the quote. Miss them and you get a refund. You also get live test links you can re-run yourself whenever you like.

Speed services →

🧹

Cleanup

Malware removal

Flat fee, quoted first

Spam redirects, Japanese keyword hacks, host suspensions, Google warnings. We strip the infection by hand, hunt the backdoors a scanner walks past, submit the blacklist review, then patch the hole the attacker came through.

📈

Growth

WordPress SEO

Monthly retainer, quoted first

Indexation, redirect chains, crawl errors, site structure, internal linking, schema and Core Web Vitals. We are engineers, so we implement the fixes instead of emailing you a spreadsheet of them. We will not promise a number-one ranking, because nobody can.

🛠

Build

Custom WordPress development

From $3,400 fixed price

Custom plugins, theme work, API integrations, migrations and rebuilds. Fixed price rather than an open hourly meter. You own the code, you get the documentation, and 30 days of fixes are included after launch.

Always free

WordPress website audit

Before any of the above, a person reads your site: security posture, update backlog, backup reality, Core Web Vitals on real phones, indexation and the obvious money leaks. You get the findings in plain English within one business day, whether or not you hire us. There is no card, no call required and no follow-up sequence.

Care plans are priced and compared in full on the DevsTeam plans table: Starter $49, Growth $99 and Agency $149 a month, and WooCommerce stores at the same three prices. Every plan runs on a three-month minimum; six months up front takes 10% off, a year takes 20%. One-time work is quoted in writing before we start, and the quote is the price.

Beyond the standard blog

The complicated sites, not just the simple ones

A brochure site and a membership platform fail in completely different ways. Here is what we already know before you have to explain it.

Stores and checkouts

Stores break during a purchase, which is the one moment nobody is watching. So we buy something.

  • WooCommerce, including High-Performance Order Storage
  • Stripe, PayPal, Square and regional gateways verified monthly
  • Subscriptions, Bookings, Memberships and Product Add-Ons
  • Tax, shipping and currency plugins tested against a live order
  • Order table indexing and cart fragment behaviour under load

Memberships and courses

Logged-in traffic cannot be cached the way public pages can, which is why these sites are usually slow for exactly the people who paid.

  • MemberPress, Restrict Content Pro and WooCommerce Memberships
  • LearnDash, LifterLMS and Tutor LMS course delivery
  • Drip content, quiz and certificate logic checked after updates
  • Video hosting, bandwidth and progress tracking
  • Object caching tuned for logged-in sessions

Multilingual and multisite

Translation plugins touch the database, the router and the sitemap at once, so one careless update takes out every language you have.

  • WPML, Polylang and TranslatePress
  • Hreflang, per-language sitemaps and canonical logic
  • WordPress Multisite networks and per-site update policy
  • Shared plugin and theme upgrades across a network
  • Domain mapping and subdirectory structures

Builders, blocks and custom code

Most sites we take over were built by someone else, in something else. That is normal and it is fine.

  • Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder and WPBakery
  • Gutenberg, block themes and full site editing
  • Advanced Custom Fields and custom post type architecture
  • REST API and WPGraphQL for headless front ends
  • Git-based deployment, staging and code review

Running something stranger than this? Tell us what it is. We would rather say no on day one than discover on day forty that we cannot support the thing your business runs on.

How it works

What happens after you pick one

No discovery call before you know what anything costs. Send a link, get an audit, decide from there. Nothing on this list needs a meeting to happen.

01

Same day

You send the URL

One field on this page. No card, no call booking, no thirty-minute qualification chat. If your site is down right now, say so in the message and it jumps the queue.

02

Within 1 business day

A person reads your site

Not a scanner report with a red dial on it. An engineer looks at your update backlog, your backup situation, your security posture, your Core Web Vitals from real devices and your indexation, then writes down what is wrong and roughly what it costs to fix.

03

Free either way

You decide, including deciding not to

The audit is yours whether you hire us or not. Take it to your current developer if you like. Several people have, and a few of them came back six months later, which is a fair outcome.

04

Day 1 to 2

Access and onboarding

You send credentials through an encrypted one-time link that destroys itself after we open it. We take a full backup before touching anything, build a staging clone, and document your stack so the next engineer does not start from zero.

05

Week 1

We stabilise before we optimise

Active vulnerabilities and update backlogs come first, in that order. Nobody gets speed work while an unpatched plugin with a public exploit is sitting on the site. If we find an active infection during onboarding, we tell you that day.

06

Every month

The cycle, and a report you can read

Updates staged and put through 15 checks, backups verified by restoring one, security scan reviewed by a human, performance compared against last month. The report says what changed and what we recommend next, in sentences.

07

Whenever it happens

When something breaks anyway

It will, eventually. You email or open a ticket and a person replies inside your plan’s SLA, at 3am on a Sunday if that is when it happened. We fix it, then write down why it happened so the same thing does not happen twice.

Honest comparison

A plugin, a cheap gig, your host, or us

Three of these four are genuinely the right answer for some sites. Read the row that matters to you and pick accordingly. We would rather lose a bad fit than onboard one.

The maths

What choosing nothing actually costs

Every service on this page competes with one option you already have: doing nothing. Here is what that one costs.

What the alternative costs

🛑

Emergency developer, out of hours

Finding someone competent on a Saturday, briefing them from zero, and paying the premium.

$150 to $250 per hour, minimum booking

🧹

Cleaning up after a breach

Removal, backdoor hunt, blacklist review, and the rankings you lose while Google shows a warning.

$2,000 to $15,000, plus weeks of recovery

💰

Downtime on a checkout

A store that cannot take orders for six hours on an ordinary Tuesday.

Your average daily revenue, divided by four

Your own hours

Reading changelogs, rolling back plugins, arguing with a host at eleven at night.

The part nobody puts on an invoice

Or, instead

$99/mo

The Growth plan covers updates, backups, security, monitoring, a 2-hour written response and hack cleanup at no extra charge.

One prevented breach pays for roughly eleven years of it.

Fit

When you should not hire us for any of this

Six situations where none of the ten services above is the right purchase. We would rather say it now than in month two.

This works well if

  • Your site brings in leads, bookings or orders, and a bad day costs real money
  • You want one team who knows the site rather than a new stranger every ticket
  • You would rather read a plain report than log into a dashboard
  • You inherited a site somebody else built and nobody has looked at it since
  • You are an agency who wants the work done without hiring for it
  • You want the price before the sales call, not after

Look elsewhere if

  • You want the cheapest option on the internet. We are not it, and the cheapest option is usually a $30 gig
  • You need someone on Slack all day. We work in tickets and email with a written SLA, deliberately
  • You want a guarantee that your site can never be hacked. Nobody honest will give you one
  • You want a number-one Google ranking promised in the contract. That promise is a lie in every contract that contains it
  • Your platform is Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or Webflow. We only do WordPress
  • You want us to install nulled or pirated plugins. That is how most of the malware we clean gets in

If one of those is you, say so and we will point you somewhere better. It costs us nothing and saves you a month.

In writing

Three promises, with the terms attached

A guarantee with no terms is a slogan. Here are ours, including what they do not cover, so nobody has an awkward conversation later.

Promise 01

14 days, full refund

If the first two weeks are not what you expected, tell us and we refund the month. No exit interview, no retention offer, no form to fill in.

Applies to: your first month on any care plan. Does not apply to: one-time project work already delivered.

Promise 02

Hacked on our watch, cleaned at our cost

If a site on a monitored plan is compromised while we are looking after it, we clean it, close the entry point and handle the blacklist review. You are not invoiced for that.

Applies to: Growth and Agency plans, after the first full cycle. Does not apply to: nulled plugins, or changes made by someone else with admin access.

Promise 03

If we cannot fix it, you pay nothing

On emergency work we diagnose first and tell you honestly whether it is fixable. If we take the job and fail, there is no invoice.

Applies to: one-time emergency repairs. Does not apply to: problems caused by a host outage or a third party we do not control.

No contracts on any plan. Month to month. Cancel before your next billing date and that is the end of it. We do not ask why, and we do not make you email three times.

From clients

Not sure which one you need? Start with the audit.

The audit tells you which of the ten services your site actually needs, and which ones it does not. One business day, no card, no call.

  • Security posture and any active vulnerabilities
  • Update backlog and whether your backups would actually restore
  • Core Web Vitals measured on real devices, not a lab dial
